Monday, May 24, 2020 – A Kenyan woman who is recuperating in a US hospital after she was stabbed multiple times by her husband last week following a domestic row has opened up about the ordeal.

The lady identified as Elizabeth Chege said that her husband, Christopher Mburu, walked in and stabbed her 17 times as their two daughters slept before fleeing the scene.

The couple’s daughters, Melissa and Faith, called the police after they were only woken up by their mother’s cry for help.

“He stabbed me 17 times in my back, chest, and hands after a domestic quarrel at around 8 am when my two daughters were asleep,” she said.

The monster husband fled the scene in his car but was involved in a grisly accident an hour later.

His car hit a tree and burst into flames.

Firefighters extinguished the fire and pulled Mburu out but he later succumbed to his injuries.

Ms. Chege is appealing for help from well-wishers to support her children as she recovers from the severe injuries she sustained.

Her friends have set a GoFundMe account where people can donate.

“We call upon everyone who stands up against domestic violence to help brave Elizabeth, the mother of three, have a peace of mind during this difficult time and be able to support her children on her long road to recovery,” a message from the GoFundMe account reads.
