Tuesday May 12, 2020 – Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has launched a scathing attack against President Uhuru Kenyatta, criticizing his leadership after ejecting Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen as the Senate Majority Leader and Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika as Majority Whip.
In a statement on his social media pages, the MP argued that the President should not be making changes in the Senate at a time when the country is grappling with the Coronavirus pandemic.
“I have never seen a cheap president like Uhuru Kenyatta.”
“How can a whole President fight a woman like Susan Kihika? A young man like Kipchumba Murkomen?” Sudi questioned.
“It is more shameful and embarrassing for a whole President to engage in political battles in the middle of Coronavirus pandemic,” he added.
Sudi further accused dynasty families of having shares in almost all sectors of the economy in the country including milk, land and banks.
“I ask the president to tame his greed for power and money as if he’ll live this world for 500 years.”
“In fact, God will be kind to us if we manage to exceed 80 years of age because we are both consumers of whiskey,” he wrote on Facebook.
Sudi complained that Kenyans living in slums such as Kibra were starving, yet the Government was not using its resources to feed them.
“People are so determined to remain in power instead of providing basic things to Kenyans at this time of the pandemic,” Sudi stated.
He concluded by regretting his decision to vote for Uhuru in 2017.
