Monday May 18, 2020 – President Uhuru Kenyatta and Health Cabinet Secretary, Mutahi Kagwe, are jokers going by what Dagoretti North MP, Simba Arati, said on Sunday.
Arati whose area of jurisdiction include Kawangawre said he approached the Ministry of Health to update him on Coronavirus cases in Kawangware but the response he got left him in shock.
In the early days of Coronavirus, Kawangware was declared a hotspot by MoH due to many cases of COVID19.
As a legislator of the region, Arati wrote to the MoH and urged them to furnish him with names of those who are sick.
Surprisingly, MoH remained mute on the matter and from that day, the Government has not reported any case from Kawangware despite the region reporting 45 cases in the early days of the pandemic.
Many Kenyans are now accusing the Kenyatta Government of faking COVID numbers so that they can receive donor funding from World Health Organisation (WHO).
