Friday, May 22, 2020 – Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) detectives have raided a house that belongs to a close confidante of National Super Alliance (NASA) leader, Raila Odinga, in Loresho, Nairobi.
The detectives raided the house which belongs to Jared Kwaga, who is a close associate of Raila Odinga.
According to EACC, Kwaga bought the house using proceeds of corruption from the Migori County Government.
He is also said to be a close confidante of Migori Governor, Okoth Obado, and EACC wants to seize the Sh 35 million house in Loresho to recover the money.
EACC says that Kwaga had incorporated many companies to trade with the Migori County Government.
Investigations revealed that Obado’s daughter, Everlyne Zachary, has been collecting rent from the Loresho Ridge House No C1 LR No 21080/38.
